ECOBRIDGES FOR THE MOVEMENT OF TIGER

Bridges will be build over the pranhita canal barrage and it will be camaflouged to make it reliable connection between the two pristine forest ranges such as Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra and forests in the kumram bheem asifabad district of Telangana.

The fragmentation of forest range is of high concern as it is reported by the expert committee of wildlife board of India.

It will be helpful in reducing the man animal  conflict .as the tadoba tiger reserve records multiplying the cats population, the canal which fragmented the forest makes the tigers to enter the nearby villages for its habitat.

GST COUNCIL CHANGES RATES FOR CIGARETTES

The council decided to increase the rates of demerit goods like cigar because the tax incidence on such goods felt down post GST implementation which will affect the nation.

ICHR STUDY OF LAHORE AND KHULNA

THE INDIAN COUNCIL OF HISTORICAL RESEARCH (ICHR) is in the process of writing a contemporary history of Lahore and Khulna, the cities of Pakistan and erstwhile East Pakistan (now BANGLADESH)

The city of Lahore is the centre of culture in the pre partition period and the city of Khulna is the Hindu majority region which joined Pakistan in partition.
